Our Speech APIs can be used on their own to create other voice enabled solutions in African Languages. The easy to use APIs allow you to build powerful speech enabled solutions in African Languages.
Text to Speech
The TTS module takes a text input and converts it into speech, generating intelligible and natural sounding audio by returning an audio file corresponding to the given text input.
This module is beneficial in making computer generated voices, which can be used in dialogue systems like Siri or voice-enabled GPS systems.
Speech to Text
This ASR system converts speech to text, or simply put, a system that enables machines to “hear” natural speech. The module returns a transcription of a given speech audio file, which facilitates user interaction with computer systems through speech.
